While it is typically recommended that enrollees complete my initial Fundamentals of Cake Decorating class, it is not absolutely necessary. It is helpful if you have some casual experience with frosting a cake as well as simple experience with a frosting bag and basic decorator tips.
In this class you can expect to gain experience in the following techniques and materials:
- Royal icing - button flowers, roses, daffodils, violets, lilies, etc.
- Gum paste - ribbons, bows, cala lilies, roses, carnations, daisies, mums, pansies, etc.
- Chocolate - filigrees, leaves, decorative shavings
- Buttercream - ruffles, basket weaving, piping, etc.
- Airbrush design
Class dates for September - 4 Wednesday nights in the month - September 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. Class is held in the Provo/Orem area from 7pm-9:15pm.
As always, space is limited so please contact me via BeTheIcingOnTheCake@gmail.com for additional detail and for details on how to reserve your spot!
Can you tell me what the cost is?
