Advanced Fundamentals of Cake Decorating - September Session

I'm pleased and excited to announce my very first advanced cake decorating class that is now enrolling for September. This Advanced Fundamentals of Cake Decorating class is for those highly motivated and zealous cake decorators that want hands on experience with more involved skills needed to make the 'over the top' cakes.

While it is typically recommended that enrollees complete my initial Fundamentals of Cake Decorating class, it is not absolutely necessary. It is helpful if you have some casual experience with frosting a cake as well as simple experience with a frosting bag and basic decorator tips.

In this class you can expect to gain experience in the following techniques and materials:

  • Royal icing - button flowers, roses, daffodils, violets, lilies, etc.
  • Gum paste - ribbons, bows, cala lilies, roses, carnations, daisies, mums, pansies, etc.
  • Chocolate - filigrees, leaves, decorative shavings
  • Buttercream - ruffles, basket weaving, piping, etc.
  • Airbrush design
Class dates for September - 4 Wednesday nights in the month - September 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. Class is held in the Provo/Orem area from 7pm-9:15pm.

As always, space is limited so please contact me via BeTheIcingOnTheCake@gmail.com for additional detail and for details on how to reserve your spot!
